Beacon School
Marcus Harris is an experienced educator and swimming specialist currently serving as a Teacher of PE and Games at The Beacon School since September 2022. Previously, Marcus held the role of Primary School Teacher at Princes Risborough Primary School from September 2016 to September 2022, completing the NQT year. In addition to teaching, Marcus has been a Level 2 Swimming Instructor and Swim School Supervisor at Astar Swim School since July 2014, with prior experience as a Swim Coach at Maxwell Swim Club Ltd. from October 2014 to May 2017. Marcus also worked as a Senior Activity Professional for Premier Education Group UK between June 2014 and August 2016 and volunteered as a Swimming Assistant, focusing on teaching children with special educational needs. Marcus holds a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Physical Education from the University of Bedfordshire and an Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport from Aylesbury College.
