Chase Wright

Chase Wright has a diverse work experience ranging from Software Engineering to Finance and Accounting. Chase started their career as an intern at Eventive Sports in 2007 and later worked at University of Alabama as an Accountant. Chase then moved to CGI, where they held two different roles, first as a Financial Analyst and then as a Software Engineer. In 2014, they joined FileRight as a Data Analyst and moved up to a Manager, Data role in 2015. Chase then worked as a Data Scientist at Cigna in 2017 before relocating to GitLab Inc as a Manager, GTM & Corporate Finance in 2018. In 2020, they worked as a Principal, Corporate Finance at Red Hat and then moved to Instabug as the Head of Finance in 2021. Chase is currently a member of Operators Guild, an invitation-only group of Operations and Finance leaders in tech, and will be joining Beaconstac HQ as the new Head of Finance in June 2023.

Chase Wright earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Montevallo in 2008. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Engineering in Information Engineering Management at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In addition to their formal education, they hold various certifications in areas such as financial modeling, data science, and project management from institutions like LinkedIn, Coursera, and Scrum Alliance, among others.
