Mark Slater

Mark Slater started their career as an Apprentice Instrumentation Engineer at Honeywell Process Solutions in 1984. Mark then held various roles in instrumentation engineering, including Instrument Engineer and Senior Instrumentation Engineer. In 1993, they became a Specialist Instrumentation Engineer before being promoted to Operations Supervisor in 1996. From 1998 to 2002, they served as the Operations Manager.

In 2002, Slater joined Pyrometer Systems Ltd. as the Sales Director, where they worked until 2007. Mark then joined Yokogawa, where they served as an Area Sales Manager from 2007 to 2010.

Since 2010, Slater has been working at Beamex. Mark started as a Business Development Manager and eventually became the Director of Sales IMEA (India, Middle East, and Africa). From 2015 to 2017, they also held the role of BDM MEA, and from 2017 to 2018, they served as the GM Middle East and Africa.

Mark Slater attended Openshaw Technical College where they studied Control and Instrumentation. Mark also attended South Manchester Technical College, where they earned a degree in Electrical/Electronics.
