Mateo Abascal

Mateo Abascal has a diverse work experience beginning in 2014 when they became the Cofounder of ShelterConnect. In 2018, they became the Cofounder and CEO of Beamlink. In 2020, they held two positions; Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of NumaVent, and Marketing Consultant of Nest Strategies - JHU American Marketing Association. Most recently, in 2021, they became a Teaching Assistant at The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University.

Mateo Abascal began their educational journey at Flintridge Preparatory School, where they obtained their High School Diploma in 2017. Mateo then attended The Johns Hopkins University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in 2021. In the same year, they also obtained a Deep Learning Specialization from deeplearning.ai. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science in Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
