Simran Saxena currently serves as Lead Network Engineer at Beamlink, focusing on reconstructing over-the-air data backup systems for cellular base station firmware, developing coordinated synchronization with cloud servers, and managing LTE test device setups. In addition to this role, Simran is actively involved in the USC Mentorship Program, guiding first-year graduate students, and contributes as a course grader and producer for Introduction to Probability and Statistics at USC. As Director of Events for USC Women in Engineering, and previously with the IEEE Signal Processing Society's K-12 Outreach Program, responsibilities include content curation and educational outreach. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College. Previous experience also encompasses technical content development and workshop instruction in robotics.
