Associate Director, Analytical Research & Development at Beam

Amanda Dios has extensive work experience in the field of life sciences research. Amanda is currently working at Beam Therapeutics as an Associate Director in Analytical Research & Development and as a Senior Scientist in the role of Potency Assay Lead. Prior to joining Beam Therapeutics, they worked at CRISPR Therapeutics as a Scientist II and Scientist. Before that, they were a Scientist at Casebia Therapeutics and at FORMA Therapeutics, Inc. Amanda also served as a Research Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital. Amanda started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University, where they obtained their graduate degree. Amanda also gained experience as a Laboratory Technologist at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Amanda Dios earned their Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Biology from The Johns Hopkins University in 2009. Amanda then went on to obtain a Master's degree in Biotechnology from the same institution in 2010. Amanda furthered their education and completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Neuroscience Concentration (Psychology) at Rutgers University from 2010 to 2015.
