Chieyu L.

ChieYu L. has extensive experience in the field of experimental virology, currently serving as Associate Director at Beam Therapeutics since July 2019, after progressing from Senior Scientist and Scientist roles. Prior to this, ChieYu L. was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard from July 2018 to July 2019, and completed residency in Clinical Pathology at Massachusetts General Hospital from June 2014 to June 2018. Additionally, ChieYu L. held a fellowship in Molecular Genetic Pathology at Harvard Medical School from July 2016 to July 2017 and earned an MD/PhD at Harvard Medical School between August 2006 and May 2014, where also contributed as a Teaching Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Harvard Medical School, along with a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Master of Science (MS) in Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Molecular Biology from Yale University.
