David Born

David Born has worked in various roles within the field of data science and engineering. David began their career at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Graduate Student Researcher from April 2014 to May 2018. Following this, they worked for Amgen as a Postdoctoral Fellow from May 2018 to January 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Data Science and Engineering at Beam Therapeutics since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Associate Director, Data Science and Engineering at Beam Therapeutics from January 2019 to January 2023.

David Born has a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Bates College, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. David then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biophysics at Harvard University from 2013 to 2018.
