Delai Chen

Delai Chen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in nanoparticle formulation and analytical development. Since September 2018, Delai has served as Director of Nanoparticle Formulation at Beam Therapeutics, following a role as Associate Director in the same field. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Scientist in Analytical Development at Codiak BioSciences and Investigator in Vaccine Chemistry and Formulation at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, where Delai focused on lipid nanoparticle and mRNA preformulation. Educational background includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Peking University. Delai's academic contributions began with postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and earlier roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at The University of Chicago.
