Fred Li

Fred Li is a skilled scientist with extensive experience in mass spectrometry and analytical chemistry. Currently serving as Scientist I at Beam Therapeutics since May 2021, Fred has previously held roles as a Principal Research Associate and Research Associate. At IonSense, Inc. from October 2015 to May 2021, Fred directed application and technology efforts, developed innovative methods for DART mass spectrometry, and provided demonstrations to support the sales team. Earlier research at Northeastern University's Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology involved applications of nanoflow ESI DMS-MS, while an analytical chemist co-op at 480 Biomedical focused on the development of bioresorbable stents. Fred holds a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Forensic Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Northeastern University.
