Lalit Kumar

Lalit Kumar is an accomplished professional in clinical bioanalytics and translational science, currently serving as the Director at Beam Therapeutics since April 2022. Previously, Lalit Kumar held roles as Associate Director and Senior Scientist at CRISPR Therapeutics, where responsibilities included designing and developing pre-clinical and clinical assays within regulated environments, and overseeing pharmacology studies with external CROs. Lalit Kumar's experience also includes serving as a Senior Scientist at Charles River Laboratories, where leadership in R&D activities and development of genetic monitoring models was essential. Additionally, Lalit Kumar provided consulting services to biotech and biopharmaceutical companies, focusing on cell-based bioassays and in-vitro diagnostics.
