Layne Jacobs

Layne Jacobs has worked as a Vice President, Corporate Counsel at Beam Therapeutics since January 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Corporate Counsel, Corporate and Securities at Beam Therapeutics from October 2021 to February 2023. Before joining Beam Therapeutics, Layne worked as an Associate at Cooley LLP from 2014 to 2021. In 2013, they were a Summer Associate at Cooley LLP. Layne also gained experience as a Judicial Intern at The Honorable Denise Jefferson Casper, U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 2012.

Layne Jacobs holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Harvard Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English and Religious Studies from Southern Nazarene University.
