Manish Patel

Manish Patel has a strong background in regulatory affairs and strategy. Manish currently holds the role of Director, Regulatory Strategy at Beam Therapeutics, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Axcella as Director, Regulatory Strategy from June 2022 to March 2023 and as Associate Director, Regulatory Strategy from July 2021 to June 2022. Manish also has experience at bluebird bio as a Senior Manager, Regulatory Science from April 2018 to July 2021. Before that, they worked at Intuitive Surgical as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist from March 2014 to April 2018 and at Stryker as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist from May 2011 to February 2014. Manish began their career in regulatory affairs as an intern at St. Jude Medical from June 2010 to April 2011.

Manish Patel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Mumbai in 2009. Manish then pursued a Master's degree in Regulatory Affairs of Drugs, Medical Devices and Biologics from Northeastern University from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, Manish obtained a Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) in the United States.
