Rahim Merchant

Rahim Merchant, PMP, currently serves as Senior Director of Program Management at Beam Therapeutics, following a prior role as Director of Program Management. Previously, Rahim held positions at AVROBIO as Global Program Management for Gene Therapy and at IPM Integrated Project Management Company, Inc., where responsibilities included leading cross-functional strategy development and establishing a Project Management Office (PMO). Additional experience includes program management at Microchips Biotech, product development engineering roles at Getinge and PixarBio Corporation, and work as a Biomaterials Engineer at InVivo Therapeutics. Rahim's academic credentials include a Master of Liberal Arts in Biotechnology Management from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering with a focus on Biomaterials from the University of Connecticut.
