Tom Jede

Tom Jede currently serves as Vice President and Manufacturing Site Head at Beam Therapeutics, having joined the company in July 2021. Previously, Tom held the position of Site Head and Senior Director of Vector Manufacturing at bluebird bio from April 2018 to May 2021. Prior to that, Tom worked at Seqirus from February 2016 to April 2018, initially as Head of Third Party Operations and Site EDGE Implementation Lead and subsequently as Director of Primary Operations. Tom's career began at Novartis, where various roles included Director of Primary Operations and Head of Bulk Manufacturing from February 2007 to February 2016. Tom also gained experience at GSK and Procter & Gamble in roles related to purification and process engineering. Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Delaware and a Professional Certificate in Business Administration from The Wharton School.
