Hemendra Mathur

Hemendra Mathur is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of agritech and venture capital. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at Bharat Innovation Fund since January 2017, Mathur also co-founded ThinkAg, a platform promoting agricultural innovation, in September 2018. As Chairman of the Task Force on Agri Start-ups at FICCI since July 2019, Mathur facilitates connections between agritech startups and industry stakeholders. Additionally, Mathur is an advisor for the International Finance Corporation's Agritech Advisory Project and a Senior Advisor at Beanstalk AgTech, focusing on strategy and partnerships in the food and agribusiness sector. Previous roles include Managing Director at SEAF India Investment Advisors and Executive Director at Yes Bank's Food and Agribusiness Fund, with a background that includes strategic advisory and research positions at Rabobank and ORG-MARG. Hemendra Mathur holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Engineering in Agricultural Engineering from the College of Technology & Engineering, Udaipur.
