Clinton Masterson

Clinton Masterson has a diverse work experience in product management roles. Clinton is currently serving as a Staff Product Manager at Bear Flag Robotics since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Rivian from April 2022 to December 2022 as a Staff Product Manager and from April 2021 to April 2022 as a Senior Product Manager.

Before joining Rivian, Clinton was a Product Manager at Zipcar from March 2019 to March 2021. During their tenure, they deployed new hardware that enhanced trip experiences and migrated all Zipcar vehicles to a new technology platform.

From March 2017 to March 2019, Clinton worked at Avis Budget Group as a Product Manager, where they developed an internal mobile application for the Avis Field team and built backend products combining connected vehicle data.

Earlier in their career, Clinton gained experience as a Product Manager at SKULLY from June 2015 to August 2016. Clinton conducted extensive research with customers and led a team of engineers for mobile applications and firmware development.

At ADT, Clinton held multiple roles, including Product Manager from September 2013 to June 2015, where they created the ADT Canopy mobile application and led the creation of the LG Smart Security device. Prior to this, they served as a Business Process Analyst from April 2012 to September 2013, implementing a large-scale iPad rollout and providing ongoing support to sales associates.

Clinton Masterson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Maryland, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Arizona State University, where they studied from 2020 to 2022. In addition to their degrees, Clinton also holds certifications including the UPenn Professional Certificate in Computer Science Essentials for Software Development, which they obtained from edX in October 2019, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in July 2013.
