Kyle McGahee

Kyle McGahee has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics and software engineering. Kyle most recently worked at Bear Flag Robotics as a Staff Software Engineer and previously as a Robotics Software Engineer. At Bear Flag Robotics, their responsibilities and specific dates are not provided. Before their time at Bear Flag Robotics, Kyle co-founded Wize in 2018, serving as a Co-Founder until April 2021. Prior to Wize, they worked at Knightscope as a Robotics Engineer from May 2017 to July 2018, focusing on programming self-driving robots for community safety. At Knightscope, they developed a new navigation algorithm for crowded environments and designed a state machine for managing robot behavior.

Kyle's earlier experience includes working as a Research Assistant at Kansas State University from August 2014 to December 2016. Kyle McGahee completed a Bachelor's Degree in Embedded Systems from Kansas State University between 2010 and 2014. Kyle then pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same university from 2014 to 2016.
