Mick McCarthy

Mick McCarthy is a seasoned design professional currently serving as Chief Design Officer at Bear and as Founder & Chief Design Officer at Onward since February 2024. Mick also holds the position of Expert Advisor at Invisible Dynamics, a consultancy focused on evolving consumer brands, and is a Member of the Board of Advisors at Frontside Agency. Prior experience includes roles as VP of Design at Pattern, SVP of Design at The Stable (formerly part of Accenture Song), and Chief Design Officer at Zehner, which was acquired by The Stable. Mick's extensive career began with ownership of McCarthy Design Inc, and former roles include Creative Director at United Future and Art Director/Designer at KK Media. Education was obtained at California State University, Fullerton.
