Michael Bateman is currently a Manager, Finance at Bear Peak Power, where they previously served as a Senior Associate and Associate Developer. Michael began their career as an Analyst at Sun Tribe Solar, focusing on project finance after graduating from the University of Virginia as a Jefferson Scholar in 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Global Environments and Sustainability with Distinction and a minor in Social Entrepreneurship. They further enhanced their expertise by obtaining a Master of Science in Commerce with a Finance Track from the McIntire School of Commerce in 2019, which included a study abroad experience in the United Arab Emirates, India, and Nepal. Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Michael has a passion for the outdoors and reading.
