Fred Hein

Fred Hein has over 28 years of experience in the elevator industry. Fred started their career at Otis Elevator in 1993 and worked as a Technical Repair Supervisor. In this role, they supervised repair operations, provided field engineering support, and conducted troubleshooting of complex industrial control systems. Fred also contributed to marketing efforts through presentations, publications, and trade show demonstrations. In 1998, Fred joined thyssenkrupp Elevator as a Manager for their Repair Facility. Their responsibilities included managing hardware support for competitors' equipment, such as repair, test development, procurement, and replacement. Fred also oversaw staffing, inventory control, budget forecasting, and management. Fred recently joined Bear Robotics, Inc. in 2021 as a Manager in the Repair department.
