Bear Trax was founded in 2021 as a retailer of products for an outdoor lifestyle. Mountain biking, bike parts and accessories are a big part of the offering along with casual outdoor clothing and boarding and ski wear. The company has a store in the North Wales town of Llangollen, a major area for many outdoor activities including mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting and much more. 
Since mid 2023 the company invested in an e-commerce system enabling online sales of its own Bear Trax branded clothing as well as products from major brands including dryrobe, GoPro, Hydroflask, Norco, Oakley, Passenger, Peaty's, Picture, Shimano, Smith, Sram and Vittoria
