Mike Owen

Mike Owen has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mike started their career as the Director of Architecture at Safety-Kleen in 2007, where they served until 2013. Mike then worked as an Information Architect at Texas Capital Bank from 2013 to 2014. Following that, they joined BakerCorp as the Vice President of IT, where they worked until 2018. In 2014, Mike also joined the US Air Force Reserve as the 10th AF Cyber Superintendent, a role they held until 2019. In 2018, they joined United Rentals as the Director of Research Development, and in 2019, they joined the Texas Air National Guard as the Chief Enlisted Manager. Currently, Mike is the Vice President of Information Technology at BearCom, and recently took on the role of Chief Technology Officer in February 2022.

Mike Owen's education history includes earning an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Community College of the Air Force in 2011. Mike also holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) from Western Governors University, as well as a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cyber Security from the same institution. Additionally, Mike has obtained several certifications, such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Project+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Oracle Certified Professional, and Six Sigma Green Belt.
