Nicholas Mendini has three years of professional work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Software Engineer for Beast Code and as a Software Engineer In Residence for Galvanize Inc. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer for Software Engineering Applications, where they achieved a 16x increase in throughput by Cassandra node expansion, ensured adherence to Service Oriented Architecture by a “query first” database approach, and overcame throughput bottlenecks via Loader.io. Nicholas also worked as a Full Stack Engineer for NearMiss, where they utilized gZip compression on Express server to reduce initial load size by 81%, decreased Time To Interactive with LazyLoad, and adapted to changing application requirements by using CSS Media Query.
