Bal Artis has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. They started their professional journey as an Administrative Intern at Keio Academy of New York, where they produced promotional videos and managed work schedules. They then gained experience as an Editor in Chief and Podcast Producer at the University of Richmond, where they attended local government meetings and contributed to podcast series. Bal also worked as a Metadata Editor at the University of Richmond, assisting with a grant-funded project focused on organizing and visualizing historical photographs. They later served as an Administrative Assistant at Internal Medicine Colleagues, supporting administrative tasks. Bal then took on the role of Group Leader at World Learning, guiding American high school students during a cultural immersion program in Japan. They also worked as a Stock Supervisor at ZARA USA, responsible for team development, shipment coordination, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Bal's experience in operations continued at Industrious, where they worked as an Operations Associate. Most recently, they worked as an Executive Assistant at Los Angeles Room & Board and are currently serving as an Operations Assistant at beatBread.

Bal Artis attended Lincoln University from 2012 to 2014, where they studied English Language and Literature/Letters. Following that, they went on to the University of Richmond from 2015 to 2017 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric.
