Greg Shugar

Greg Shugar has held a variety of positions in the business world. In 2001, they began their career as an attorney at Dykema. Two years later, they moved to Goldstine, Skrodzki, Russian, Nemec and Hoff, Ltd. as an attorney. In 2004, they co-founded and became CEO of Tie Bar, where they and their wife grew the business to almost $20 million in annual revenue. In 2014, they became a contributing writer for Entrepreneur Media, writing on topics related to entrepreneurship. In 2015, they co-founded Thread Experiment, launching the first ever brand of home bedding dedicated exclusively to men. In 2021, they joined Mi Vecino Florida as a Member of the Board of Directors, and also became an Adjunct Instructor at Florida Atlantic University's College of Business. Additionally, in 2019, they became the Owner/Chief Executive Officer of Beau Ties of Vermont.

Greg Shugar attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1990 to 1994, earning a B.A. in Telecommunications. Greg then attended Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1998, where they earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.).
