Gary Smith

Gary Smith is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting and regulatory reporting. Currently serving as the Corporate Finance Manager at Beazley since July 2016, responsibilities include staff development and training support. Previous roles at Beazley encompass production of Solvency II returns, financial statement preparation for multiple syndicates, and comprehensive accounting tasks. Prior experience includes a position as Trainee Accountant at Cafico International, providing bookkeeping and statutory accounting services, and as Senior Retail Betting Assistant at PADDYPOWER, managing betting activities and mentoring staff. Gary holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Technological University of the Shannon and is an ACCA member.
