John Beauchamp

John Beauchamp has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Underwriting Governance Manager at Beazley since June 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing the Specialty Lines Underwriting Management unit and collaborating with teams in the UK and US. Past roles at Beazley also include Head of Internal Audit and Commercial Underwriter, as well as contributions to establishing an Environmental Underwriting practice. Prior to Beazley, John held senior vice president positions at XL Insurance, XL Specialty Insurance, and XL Capital, focusing on environmental insurance, and began a career in underwriting at ECS, Inc. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Dickinson College, earned between 1982 and 1986.
