John Wood

John Wood is an experienced insurance professional with a robust background in claims management. Currently serving as Claims Team Leader and Contingency Claims Manager at Beazley since January 2014, John has previously held the position of Senior Non-Marine Claims Adjuster at Talbot Underwriting, managing various claims including Property and Energy. Prior roles include Senior Adjuster at Xchanging, where John dealt with complex international claims, and Senior Adjuster & Claims Manager at QBE, focusing on property claims predominantly for North America. Beginning his career as a Claims Adjuster at HDI-Gerling, John has developed a diverse skill set across multiple sectors of the insurance industry. John holds a Dip CII in Insurance & Risk Management from the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Higher National Certificate in Business, Finance & Management from Canterbury Technical College.
