Karl Murphy

Karl Murphy has extensive experience in the insurance and consultancy sectors, currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Beazley Insurance dac since July 2018. Previously, Karl held the position of Non Executive Director at the Enstar Group from January 2019 to October 2022 and at Covéa Insurance from May 2017 to March 2021. Karl's earlier career includes a role as Managing Director for UK Property and Casualty at Towers Watson from February 2011 to January 2016, following a tenure as Partner at EMB Consultancy LLP, beginning in November 1993. Karl obtained an MA in Mathematics and Economics from Trinity College Dublin and completed an executive program at Harvard Business School in 2014.
