Lucy Smith

Lucy Smith is an experienced professional in the insurance industry, currently serving as the Investor Relations Manager and Head of Actuarial - IFRS 17 at Beazley since October 2022. Prior to this role, Lucy worked at Allianz Insurance as an IFRS 17 Actuary and previously as a Claims Actuary. Lucy's career began at PwC, where Lucy held the position of Principal Actuarial Consultant for over a decade, also qualifying as an ACA during this time. Lucy holds a 2.1 degree in Maths and Sport Science from Loughborough University, and possesses a strong focus on non-life reserving and exit solutions for run-off insurance liabilities.
