Nick Simpson

Nick Simpson is currently a Ceded Reinsurance Account Handler at Beazley since April 2020, managing the Group's reinsurance programmes including Facultative, Proportional, and Excess of loss contracts. Prior to this role, Nick served as an Insurance Broker at Jardine Lloyd Thompson Limited from October 2007 to March 2020, where contributions included managing key accounts in diverse sectors such as Mega Yachts and Political Violence, and working in the Financial Lines Group on clients like FIFA and England Cricket. Nick's earlier experience includes roles as a Claims Broker at Gallagher Heath, where negotiation skills with underwriters were developed, and as an Assistant Buyer at Synthomer plc., overseeing raw material procurement. Nick's career began as a Teaching Assistant at Hadlow Preparatory School, following education at Kingston University, where a Bachelor's Degree in Geography was attained.
