Richard Hutton

Richard Hutton has extensive experience in the field of political risk and trade credit underwriting, currently serving as an Underwriter at Beazley since 2016. Prior to this role, Richard worked at Aon from 2013 to 2016, where positions included Associate Director and Broker, both focused on political risk and trade credit. Richard began a career in the British Army as a member of the Grenadier Guards from 2007 to 2013. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Insurance Institute designation (ACII) obtained between 2013 and 2014, a BA (Hons) in History from the University of the West of England (2004-2007), and attendance at Marlborough College (1997-2002), with military training completed at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (2007-2008).
