Rob McElvanney

Rob McElvanney is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in penetration testing and cyber services. Currently serving as a Senior Pen Test & Red Team Operator at Beazley since July 2023, Rob previously held the position of Head of Penetration Testing at PA Consulting from January 2022 to July 2023. At Deloitte, from July 2016 to December 2021, Rob revitalized the penetration testing team, expanding its scope to include CBEST and Red Team activities. Prior to Deloitte, Rob was a Senior Manager in Penetration Testing at KPMG UK, where strategic initiatives increased offshore testing activities significantly. Rob's career began with multiple roles at IRM Plc, including Head of Network Forensics, and included tenures as a Penetration Tester for the MOD and the Royal Air Force. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Computing from The Open University and an Executive Diploma in Management from Lincoln College.
