Niels Westphal

Niels Westphal is currently the Enterprise Risk Officer at BEC, focusing on operational risk management and the design of risk frameworks. With a robust background in risk analysis and management across the financial and energy sectors, Niels has played key roles in developing risk management processes and facilitating risk assessments. Previously, Niels served in senior positions at Alm Brand, ATP, DONG Energy, and Maersk Oil, contributing significantly to various projects, including offshore hydrocarbon production and compliance with GDPR. Niels holds a Master’s degree in Geology from the University of Copenhagen and additional certifications in project management and risk management.
