Yi Yu

YI YU currently serves as the Chief Data Officer and Head of Data & Analytics at BEC Financial Technologies since January 2024, after an extensive career at Saxo Bank, where YI held several senior director positions from October 2017 to January 2024, including global responsibility for post-trade and tax reporting processes and technologies, managing a team of 90 staff, and driving business strategies for the Greater China market. Prior experience includes roles at Danske Bank, where YI managed product analytics and pricing governance for transaction banking as well as retail banking profitability analysis. YI began the academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Law from Wuhan University, followed by a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, and a Cand. Polit. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen. YI has also participated in an Executive Program in Blue Ocean Strategy at INSEAD.
