David Papps

David Papps is an Executive Director at Beca, where they lead the growth strategy in Australia and serve on the boards of multiple Beca companies, including as Chair of Beca’s main Australian operating company. Since joining Beca in 2004, David has contributed to notable projects such as the Victorian Desalination Project and has held various leadership roles, including Technical Director for Water and Technical Fellow. They hold a Bachelor of Engineering and a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Canterbury, as well as a Master of Applied Science in Coastal Engineering from The University of British Columbia. David is recognized as a Chartered Professional Engineer and is passionate about leveraging engineering to address significant global challenges.
