Geoff Brown

Geoff Brown is a Senior Technical Director - Bridges at Beca in Wellington, New Zealand, with over 43 years of experience in the design and construction of bridges and civil structures. Currently semi-retired, Geoff supports the Wellington bridge team while having previously served as Chief Engineer for RailCorp in Sydney and held key engineering roles at Opus International Consultants and Mott MacDonald. Geoff has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Bradford and a Certificate in Management from Sheffield Business School. Recognized as a Beca Technical Fellow, Geoff has contributed significantly to major highway projects and the development of the Waka Kotahi Bridge Manual.
