Liam Edwards is a lead bridges and civil structures engineer currently serving as the Technical Director and Practice Lead at Beca. With a strong background in design management and technical delivery of complex structures, Liam has successfully led multidisciplinary teams on various significant bridge projects in both New Zealand and the UK. They hold a Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Auckland. Liam is proficient in various digital design tools and has a passion for steel structures and durability design. Prior to their role at Beca, Liam held positions at URS Corporation, AECOM, and WSP in the UK, contributing extensively to notable infrastructure projects.
