Maree Priest

Maree Priest is a Senior Flood Engineer at Beca, where they are responsible for setting up, reviewing, and interpreting flood models. With previous experience as Programs Lead for Flood Information at Melbourne Water, Maree developed a comprehensive annual flood mapping program and significantly increased coverage across Melbourne Waters catchments. They began their career as an Investigations Engineer, learning the principles of flooding and gaining expertise in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling with software such as RORB, HEC-RAS, and TUFLOW. Maree holds a Bachelor's Degree (Hons) in Civil Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology.
