Michael Kaye is an experienced mechanical engineer with a diverse background in the engineering field. Beginning the career at DAIKEN NEW ZEALAND LIMITED as an intern in 2013, Michael progressed through various roles including internships at Ravensdown and ReGenerateNZ Ltd, and design engineering positions at Beca and Caliber Design, where project engineering support was provided for new jet model development. As a Mechanical Engineer at BVT Engineering from January 2017 to July 2019, responsibilities included the design and construction monitoring of structures across various industries. In March 2021, Michael became the Engineering Team Lead at ENI Engineering Ltd, managing an engineering team while overseeing metalwork solutions for multiple sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Beca, Michael continues to leverage a strong educational foundation from the University of Canterbury, where a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering was obtained.
