Philip Robins

Philip Robins is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer at Beca in Wellington, where they lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects within the transport and infrastructure sectors. With over 30 years of international experience, Philip has held significant roles at various companies, including Fugro and Golder Associates, where they contributed to major projects such as the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge and the M2PP expressway. Philip has served as Chair of the New Zealand Geotechnical Society and is currently the ISSMGE Vice President for Australasia. Their educational background includes a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and an MSc in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
