Aurelien Viot

Aurelien Viot is the current Global Head of Sync & Licensing at Because Music. Aurelien has over 16 years of experience in creative licensing and music supervision for film, brands, advertising, video games, and TV shows. Prior to their current role, Aurelien was the Founder of Empty Streets Records, an indie label and publishing company. Aurelien has also worked as an Associate at Jet Lag Connection, a production company specializing in event management and concert production. Aurelien began their career in the music industry as a Business Affairs intern at Universal Music Group.

Aurelien Viot is a graduate of HEC Paris, where they studied Nouvelles Technologies. Aurelien also holds a DEA in Propriété Intellectuelle from Université de Poitiers, and a Maitrise in Droit des Affaires from the same school.

Aurelien Viot is the Global Head of Sync & Licensing at Because Music. Aurelien works with a team of sync and licensing professionals to secure placement of Because Music’s artists in film, TV, and advertising.
