Alan Wang is a seasoned Senior Contracts Specialist with over 20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Mining, and EPC sectors. Currently with Bechtel Corporation, they lead strategic global sourcing initiatives and manage high-value contracts, leveraging expertise in key supplier relationships, particularly in China. Previously, Alan played pivotal roles at Eni Australia, Kiewit, and MCC Mining Australia, where they achieved significant cost savings and spearheaded contract negotiations for major projects. They hold a Master's degree in Commerce and a Postgraduate Diploma in Natural Resources Law, along with certifications from MCIPS and NAATI (English–Mandarin). As a part-time Vice President of ACERA, Alan has built a robust professional network across Australia and China, and they are passionate about the integration of Smart Contracts and AI in procurement.
