Catherine Chapa

Catherine Chapa is a skilled mechanical engineer with a robust background in the nuclear industry. Currently serving as a Field Engineer Mechanical Planner at Bechtel Corporation since May 2021, Catherine has previously held roles at Fluor Corporation, including Project Control - Progress Engineer and Pipe Stress Engineer, where responsibilities included fieldwork at Plant Vogtle Units 3 & 4 and conducting stress analysis tests. Additionally, Catherine worked as a Construction Mechanical Planner and Piping Material Engineer for Fluor Corporation and Southern Company, respectively, focusing on creating work packages for piping isometrics and investigating design changes. Catherine earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2014.
