Darren Mort

Darren Mort is general manager for Bechtel’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) business line within the company’s Oil, Gas & Chemicals business. He was elected a senior vice president in 2014. Previously, he was operations manager for the LNG business line.

Darren has more than 20 years of experience in engineering, construction, contracts, and business development across four continents and industries including transportation, energy, oil and gas, and mining. He joined Bechtel in 2000, and served as a chartered civil engineer in both the Civil and Power businesses. Darren held various roles in construction supervision, field engineering, proposals, and contracts on the motorway projects in Europe, eventually serving as project manager on the Albanian and Kosovo motorway projects.
