David Chaplin

David Chaplin is a seasoned professional in process technology with a career that spans over three decades. Currently serving as the Manager of Process Technology at Bechtel Corporation since March 2012, David leads the BETS London Technology Group, focusing on the promotion of various technologies, including ammonia recovery processes and delayed coking technologies. Prior experience includes serving as Technology Manager at Shaw Energy & Chemicals, where responsibilities involved promoting advanced refining technologies, and a long tenure at Bechtel Corporation in various roles, which include Process Manager for significant projects like the Reliance Jamnagar Export Refinery Project. David began his career as a Process Engineer at Exxon Chemical Ltd. and holds a BSc(Eng) in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.
