Elvin Ortiz

Elvin Ortiz, B. Eng., is a seasoned professional with thirty-seven years of experience in Structural CAD Design, specializing in tools such as STAAD, SmartPlant 3D, and AutoCAD. Currently, they serve as the Lead CSA Designer and SmartPlant S3D Structural Champion at Bechtel Corporation. Previously, Elvin held senior design roles at Bantrel, Teng Inc., and Worley Parsons, among others. Elvin has also contributed as a CSA Professor at Advance Computer Training for Engineers and has experience in various other esteemed companies. They are pursuing Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering at the Technological University of Panama and the University of Toronto.
