John Peek

John Peek has extensive experience in civil engineering and construction management, serving as Civil Superintendent at Bechtel Corporation since October 2003. Key responsibilities have included managing underground utility excavation, road construction, and heavy earth moving, as well as expertise in radiological and contaminated soil solidification processes. John has also led efforts during Hurricane disaster relief operations and contributed to significant projects such as the Blue Line Stream Relocation at the Oak Ridge National Lab. Prior experience includes positions at Bechtel Jacobs and MACTEC, Inc., with notable projects in decommissioning and environmental remediation. John holds a top honors degree in Construction and Heavy Equipment Operation from Superior Training Services and a high school diploma in Building Trades from Normal Community High School.
