John Williams

John Williams is the managing director of Bechtel Infrastructure in the U.K., responsible for overseeing active projects and leading the strategy for the company’s aviation, rail, civil, power, and telecommunications work. Prior to this role, he was the Bechtel deputy project director for Crossrail, a 73-mile (117-kilometer) railway line that crosses through London.

Previously, John was manager of Bechtel’s Nuclear, Security & Environmental global business unit’s international portfolio and the U.K. marketing and business development lead for the company’s infrastructure business. In this dual role, he led the effort to expand Bechtel’s defense, nuclear decommissioning, and nuclear new-build capabilities into non-U.S. markets, and provide operational oversight to those contracts.
